Tuesday 12th - A day to reflect

I don't know how to describe how I was that day. I woke up at 13.20, and it was because my mother phoned from her work to know how I was. I said her that I was Ok, but It wasn't totally true. I missed a lot the Dutch, specially Calvin and Iris. I was alone at home, so nobody could see that I cried for them because I felt incomplete. I think that's the properly word: incomplete. I switched on the computer and I opened the facebook to see the pictures people uploaded. Later, my father came and we had lunch together. I decided to do some homework for the week, but I couldn't. I was still thinking about the exchange and the fantastic people I met. I talked with Uri by msn and we decided to meet to talk. I met him at the afternoon and we talked about how we felt because we needed to. Then I went home and I prepared my things for the school. At half past nine I had dinner and when it was late I went to sleep.

A very sad day - Monday 11th

That day was one of the most sad days of my life.
It was the last day in Holland and I woke up early because I had to go to school. As usual, I had a shower and I dressed up. I had breakfast with Calvin and I ate a toast with "Nocilla". We went to the school by car with Calvin's father. During the travel, I was thinking about the end of the exchange. I thought about all the people I met, all the happy moments we lived together, about Calvin's family, about Holland. I thought that maybe it was the last day that I saw them. But I also had the hope of see them again.

When we arrived at the school, I saw all the people and my sadness decreased. I talked to them and then I knew that we had to go climbing after visiting Utrecht. Calvin didn't say me anything because he didnt' know it, so we didn't have sport clothes. We went to the train station and we all waited for the train to go to Utrecht. When we arrived there, we split into groups. My group could go around the meeting point to look something to buy. I went with more people to the supermarket and I buy cookies for me and my family. When it was time to swop activities, we met at the meeting point. Then, it was our turn to climb to the tower. I liked the landscapes you can see when you're on the top of the tower, but I didn't like climbing, it was too high. After that, we took the train again, but we went to a place where we climbed. I didn't have sport clothes, but I climbed a bit. When we finish, we took the train again and I ate some stroopwafels, I love them.

We arrived at Cals College and there the Dutch people prepared us a party to say goodbye and they sang a song. Then, I started to cry. I cried a lot. I cried how I never cried. Many people cried and finally we left them and we left Cals College. We went to the airport by bus and approximately at nine we took the airplane and we left Holland. We arrived at Barcelona's airport at approximately eleven. Then, we went to IES Salvador Espriu by bus. When I arrived at home, I went to sleep because I was very tired and it was too late. I was very sad and I was thinking about Holland.

Sunday 10 th

That day I woke up very very very late. It was because I had two consecutive parties the two days before. Calvin also woke up very late. Then, I had a big breakfast with Calvin and his family. I ate two "croissants" and and some toasts with "Nocilla". After that, I had a shower and I dressed up. We played computer games. We played a ps3 game called FIFA 11. I beat Calvin twice because I'm better than him. When it was two o'clock Wesley and Aleix came to Calvin's house because Calvin organized a party in his house. Then, Calvin's family went out and they left us alone in the house. While we were waiting for the rest of the people, we were watching Formula 1. We switched on the ps3 and we switched on the music. At three o'clock, more people came to his house and some people played computer games, others were talking in the garden and others were playing in a park close to his house.

Afterwards, we all decided to go to the beach. Well, they say that a beach is a lake with a bit of sand. But in any case, we went to the beach. We went there by bike. There we saw the sunset and we took pictures. We spent a very good time there. Later, we came back home by bike and we went to sleep.

Saturday 9th

That day I woke up later than the other days because it was weekend and as we went to sleep very late, we woke up very late as well. When I woke up I had a shower and I dressed up as usual. I had breakfast with Calvin and his family. We watched TV a bit. I understood the programmes because the sound was in English, but the subtitles were in Dutch. When we were ready, Calvin, his father and me went to the place where we played Paintball. When we arrived, Calvin's father came back to his house and we waited for the rest of the people. When we were all there, we entered to the bar where we had to play Paintball. A young man explained us all the rules we should follow and he gave us the special clothe we should wear to play Paintball. It was the first time I played Paintball and it was a good experience for me. But I realised that I have to improve how to play because they killed me many times.

After that, we had something to drink in the bar and we talked about the plan for that evening. We decided to go to the beach and then to Emmely's party. When we came back to Calvin's house, he decided to not go to the beach because many people didn't go and we played computer games until it was time to go to Emmely's house.

We went there by car with Calvin's father. As we went by car, we were the firsts who arrived there. So, we had to wait for the rest of people. When it was six and a half, we started to have dinner. We cooked meat in the barbeque and I liked it a lot. After having dinner I spent a great time with all the people and I had a lot of fun.

Friday 8th

I woke up very early, but later than yesterday because I had to go by car with Calvin's father. When I woke up, I had a shower and I dressed up as usual. We went to school and we spent 15 minutes for the travel. We arrived at 8.30 a.m. and we waited there for the rest of the people. We planned to go to Amsterdam and when it was almost nine o'clock, we left the school. We arrived to Amsterdam approximately one hour and thirty minutes later. There, we made two groups: the Spanish people and the Dutch people. We, the Spanish people, went to the Anne Frank's museum. We couldn't take pictures, so I dont' have any material memory. But I have a good memory of the visit to the museum because we could see how Anne frank and his family could live. Also, because we could see the old diary.

Afterwards, we met the Dutch people again. We all went to the Rijksmuseum and some people entered to the museum and others went to visit the city. I was in the group of visiting the city. We went to a lake and we saw with big letters: " I AMSTERDAM ". We took many pictures there and I had the sandwich Calvin gave me for lunch. Some minutes later, we entered to the Rijksmuseum. There, we saw a lot of paintings and we answered some questions of a portfolio.
At the afternoon, we went to McDonald's and I ate two hamburgers because I was hungry. After that, we came back to the school. Calvin and me went to his house. There we had dinner. When we finished, we played computer games and when it was nine o'clock we left his house and we went to Thom's house. There, we spent a great time with all the people. We left Thom's house later than midnight and we arrived at Calvin's house at 1.30 a.m. It was very late and we were very tired, so we went to sleep.

Thursday 7th

That morning I woke up at seven o'clock. I had a shower and I dressed up because we had to go to school and we woke up very early because we had to go by bike. I had a toast with chocolate for breakfast. Then, we went to the school by bike. I enjoyed it because all the land was flat and I liked when I felt the air on my face. It was fantastic. We arrived at school at 8.30 a.m. There, we made groups and we went to different classrooms. The Dutch people teached us some Dutch words and each group represented a conversation. It was very funny. Afterwards, we had breaktime and I ate something because I was hungry. Later, we took Phisycal Education class. I played a basketball match with other students.

Afterwards, I went with a group of people to Tessa's house. There, we left all the bags and we took the train to go to Utrecht. I liked the travel with the train because I could see all the flat lands and the landscapes. We arrived at Utrecht and there we met a lot of people. The girls went shopping and the boys went to McDonald's, typically. When it was late, Calvin and me went to take the train with other people. We went to Tessa's house to take the bags. Then, Calvin and me went back home to have dinner. After that, we went to the swimming pool with all the people. There was a slide and we spent a lot of time there. I loved the time we spent there.
At approximately nine o'clock, we came back home. We were very tired and we went to sleep.

We are in Holland !! - Wednesday 6th

That morning I woke up at 3 a.m. o'clock because I had to be at 3.45 a.m. at my school. Me and my classmates had to be there because we had to go to Holland. I was very excited because all the Dutch people were waiting for us.

At 5 o'clock we arrived at the airport. There, we packed the bags and we spent time there waiting for the airplane. We took off at 6.30 a.m. and we spent 2 hours and 10 minutes approximately inside the plane. There, I slept more than an hour because I was tired because I didn't sleep too much. I also ate some cookies I had. We arrived in Holland approximately at 8.40 a.m. I had a nice trip with my classmates and I enjoyed it.

At 10.30 we arrived at Cals College. There, we met again 2 months ago and it was fantastic. We said hello to all the Dutch people. Later, we went to a classroom and there we took a class, but just to know more about each other. Afterwards, I and Calvin went home. I met his family: his father Ciro, his mother Mirella, his brither Joey and his sister Chiara. We spent a lot of time with the computer and we played computer games too. At six o'clock, we had pasta for dinner and I liked it a lot because Calvin cooked his special sauce. When it was late, we went to sleep. I was really tired because of the flight.
